Once upon a time, there was a crow who was very thirsty. He flew from tree to tree, searching for water to drink. However, all the trees he visited had no water, and he was left even more thirsty than before.

One day, the crow found a pot of water in the shade of a tree. The water was very low, but it was the closest he had found. The pot was too tall for the crow to reach, and it was filled with pebbles at the bottom. The crow realized that he couldn’t drink the water directly from the pot.

As the crow watched the water level drop with each pebble he dropped into the pot, he thought of a plan. He started to fly to a nearby river, where he could easily find pebbles. One by one, he brought back the pebbles and dropped them into the pot.

The water level slowly rose, and the crow continued to add pebbles until the water reached the brim of the pot. Finally, the crow was able to drink the water and quench his thirst.

The crow was so happy and proud of his cleverness that he shared his story with all his friends. From that day on, the crow became known as the cleverest bird in the forest, and he taught other birds how to solve problems using their intelligence.

And so, the moral of the story is that with a little bit of cleverness and perseverance, even the smallest of creatures can overcome great difficulties.
