维岁在癸卯，月序孟冬，日临初八，吾浙大立一百二十载。兹逢庆典，特此公告，以昭告天下，共襄盛举。

In the year of the Fire Rooster, the month of winter, on the eighth day, our Zhejiang University has been established for one hundred and twenty years. Now, as we celebrate this grand occasion, we hereby issue this announcement to inform the world and invite everyone to join in the grand event.

吾浙大，自昔贤达，继往开来，蔚为大观。历沧桑之变，经风雨之磨，犹能自强不息，锐意进取，为育英才，为谋福祉。

Zhejiang University, since ancient times, has been a place where wise and virtuous individuals have succeeded in the past and opened up the future, becoming a magnificent sight. Through the vicissitudes of history and the trials of adversity, it has continued to strive for self-improvement and progress, nurturing talents for the country and seeking the well-being of the nation.
