Once upon a time, in a small village, there were three little pigs. They were the sons of a kind and hardworking pig farmer. The father taught them the importance of hard work and self-reliance.

The first little pig was very lazy. He decided to build his house out of straw, which was easy and quick to make. The pig father was worried but allowed him to proceed. The first pig worked for a few days, and soon his house was complete. He moved in and lived happily, but he didn’t realize the danger he was in.

One day, a big, bad wolf came to the village. He heard about the first little pig’s straw house and decided to pay him a visit. The wolf blew so hard on the straw house that it fell down, and the first little pig ran away, crying for help.

The second little pig was not as lazy as his brother. He decided to build his house out of sticks. He worked hard and spent a lot of time making sure it was strong. When the wolf came to the second pig’s house, he tried to blow it down, but the house was too strong. The wolf then used his smartness and made a plan.

The wolf went to the second pig’s house and asked, “Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.” The second pig replied, “Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” The wolf then left and went to get some water. He came back and said, “Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.” The second pig again replied, “Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” But this time, the wolf tricked the pig by saying, “I’m not the wolf, I’m your uncle.” The second pig, feeling sorry for the wolf, opened the door, and the wolf blew the house down with a single breath.

The third little pig was the most diligent and clever of the three. He knew that the wolf was coming, so he decided to build his house out of bricks. He worked tirelessly for many days, and when it was finally complete, the third pig moved in and lived there happily.

When the wolf heard about the third pig’s brick house, he was very angry. He went to the house and tried to blow it down, but the house was too strong. The wolf then used his cunning and went to the third pig’s house at night. He dressed up as an old woman and knocked on the door, saying, “Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.” The third pig, being cautious, asked, “Who’s there?” The wolf replied, “It’s your old friend, the woman who brought you up.” The third pig, trusting his words, opened the door a crack and peeked out. To his surprise, it was the wolf dressed as an old woman. The third pig quickly shut the door and locked it.

The wolf tried to trick the third pig again by saying, “Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.” But the third pig was not fooled this time. He asked, “How do I know it’s really you, old woman?” The wolf replied, “You can feel my hair.” The third pig reached out to touch the wolf’s hair, but the wolf pulled back quickly. The third pig then said, “I don’t believe you, you’re not my old woman!” The wolf got angry and tried to blow the door down, but the third pig had prepared for this. He had set up a pot of boiling water on the other side of the door. When the wolf blew the door down, the hot water splashed on him, and he ran away, howling in pain.

The third little pig lived happily ever after in his brick house, safe from the big, bad wolf. And from that day on, he never forgot the lessons his father had taught him about hard work and cleverness.
