夜泊牛渚怀古，潮平阔。

风正一帆悬，海天共一色。

渔舟唱晚，响穷彭蠡之滨。

雁阵惊寒，声断衡阳之浦。

遥知兄弟登高处，遍插茱萸少一人。

At night, anchored at Niuzhu, I contemplate the past,

The tide is even, the banks on both sides wide.

The wind is just right, a sail hangs aloft,

The sea and sky blend into one color.

Fishing boats sing at dusk, the sound echoes along the banks of Pengli.

Geese in a formation startle at the cold, the sound breaks off at the river mouth of Hengyang.

I know my brothers are climbing the high places,

They have all worn chrysanthemum branches, but there is one less person.

夜晚，我在牛渚停泊船只，怀念古代的事迹，

潮水平静，宽广。

风正好，帆船高高挂起，

海天一色，融为一体。

渔船在傍晚时分唱歌，声音在彭蠡湖边回荡。

雁群受寒惊飞，声音在衡阳的河口处断绝。

遥想家中的兄弟们正在登高，

他们头上都插上了茱萸，但少了我一人。
